Meghan Markle Biography
Rachel Meghan Markle was born on 4th August 1981 in Los Angeles, Calinfornia, USA, to an African-American mother and a Dutch-Irish father.
Acting wasn’t the first choice career for Meghan although she graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in Theater and International Relations. It was the second of these major’s that led to her early career as she ended up working for the U.S. embassy in Buenos Aires.
Meghan’s acting career began in 2002 when a friend gave a copy of a film she had made in college to a manager who had enquired whether or not Meghan was a trained actress. Shortly afterwards Meghan got a phone call from the manager who told her she would make money in Hollywood and that he wanted to manage her for a 10% fee.
Her start came shortly afterwards in an episode of General Hospital. She then went on to appear in episodes of Century City, Cuts, Love, Inc., The War at Home, 90210, Knight Rider, Without a Trace, The Apostles, CSI: Miami, Castle and The League, before becoming a series regular in Suits as Rachel Zane.
She has also appeared in a few movies including Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me, Horrible Bosses and Dysfunctional Friends.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys cooking and is a Scrabble fanatic.
